Experiencing God in the Marketplace

Experiencing God in the Marketplace

God desires for you to experience Him daily in all you do, even in your daily marketplace decisions and activities, so that in the end, His purpose is accomplished, and you can enjoy good success and prosperity as the consequence of your total obedience to His will.

Experiencing God begins with knowing Him intimately and having a love relationship with Him. As this love relationship blossoms, you know and come to deeper understanding of His will for your life.

His will is to bring your hope; to bring you to an expected end; and to prosper you in your body, soul, and spirit.

Thus, every decision you make is important. The decisions you make today can have wonderful or devastating consequences on your future outcomes and performance.

The marketplace is a monstrous and treacherous territory, even the wisest and smartest do sometimes stumble. A lot of the pain and agony we experience are avoidable, if only we learn how to involve God from the onset in our decision making.

To begin experiencing God, you must first know Him. But first, what is the consequence of knowing Him? Eternal life. This is the life that does not end, but it is peaceful, blissful, and harmonious. Eternal life has its source in God and brings every attribute of God to manifestation in those who possess this kind of life. Neither sickness nor death can extinguish it, because for as long as God lives, eternal life is, well, eternal (unending).

Do you have this life? Do you want to have this life? Here is how: You must know him. But nobody knows God, except that one who came from Him, his Son. Because God wants you to experience His love like a son experiences his father’s love at a depth which no other person can, God sent his only Son, Jesus Christ to show us what it means to know God.

If you want to know and experience God daily (even in the marketplace), then you must know Jesus. To know Jesus is to know who he is, and what he did in order for you to know God and experience his love.

The sinful nature of man made it impossible for God to relate with us and us with his. The wall of separation erected by sin made it impossible for us to experience God. As long as sin separates us from God.

How can you have a love relationship with someone who is tens of thousands of miles away, and with whom you rarely speak? You’ve probably had it seen such before, you know how it ended!

Like some people consult with relationship experts to help them mend their relationships with the people in their lives; well, the only expert who can help you mend your relationship with God is Jesus Christ, because he is the only one who knows you and the father.

Yes, Jesus knows you! He lived like you, went through life like you, knows what it feels like to be tempted, knows what it feels like to make hard and difficult decisions, and yet, he did not stumble nor falter.

He knows God also because he came from Him. He knows that God loves you so much, even more than a mother loves her own daughter or son. But the only way for you to experience God’s love is for Jesus to take away your sins.

The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus satisfied God’s requirement for you to have a love relationship with Him. Because of Jesus, you can experience God intimately and enjoy eternal life.

Do you want eternal life? Know Jesus and accept and appreciate what he did for you.

What did he do? He laid down his life, so you may have eternal life through knowing God.

Therefore, if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; and you can begin to experience God.

Do you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord? Do you now believe in your heart that God raised (resurrected) him from the dead? Then, you are saved, and you are welcome to the family of God. Congratulations!

Now, the main focus of KingdomDC is to help you focus on developing a deeper love relationship with God, so that you may experience His in your daily marketplace decisions and activities. That is, in your professional, career, or business undertakings, decision making and moves, you are aware and cognizant of God’s presence and His interest in the process and outcome.

We hope that you’ll be so intimate with God to the point of consulting with Him before making decisions, especially in how you manage the resources committed into your hands.

We hope that your love relationship will deepen daily and you will trust in Him to lead and guide you as you develop strategies to gain and retain competitive advantage in the marketplace.

We hope that you will guide your affairs with diligence and discretion, and with wisdom and understanding, knowing that you represent God in the marketplace and that He wants to use you to draw more people to Himself, and the marketplace is the prime location to display His glory through you!

The glory of God on your life will manifest as you demonstrate the ability to conduct yourself as God’s ambassador by not conforming to evil and wickedness, but by transforming the marketplace and the workplace into an oasis of love, peace and harmony.

As God’s ambassador, you represent Him, and you must understand that all eyes are on you. Therefore conduct yourself worthy of your office.

Also, as an ambassador, you possess the same nature and character of God. God is Love; He is All-Powerful (Omnipotent, Resourceful, Almighty); and He is All-Knowing (Omniscient).

Love what He has called you to do in the marketplace, love the people you work with and everyone you relate with; trust in His power and enablement to utilize the resources He provides to do the work He has called you to do in the marketplace and in the workplace; and know all you need to know in order to excel in your work.

May the grace of God be with you and all yours. May the power of His might strengthen you. May He cause His face to shine upon you and cause you to prosper and be in the soundness of health, even as you know Him daily and dwell in His love. Amen!
